I am a board-certified plastic surgeon with my own private practice for reconstructive and cosmetic surgery in Birmingham. My staff and I work toward providing the best possible experience for our patients. Our years of experience and our high volume of breast procedures – over 600 cosmetic and reconstructive breast procedures each year – have given us the tools to provide professional and compassionate care to each of our patients.
I earned my medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia and after graduation, I went on to complete an internship and residency in general surgical training, along with a 2-year plastic surgery residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. I chose to stay on in Cleveland for a 6-month research fellowship before moving on to complete three additional fellowships in breast reconstruction and aesthetic surgery with several well-known and highly-respected plastic surgeons. I’ve earned board certifications from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.
This blog is intended to provide real-time commentary on the latest topics and to provide more information about cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Questions are always welcome – please feel free to contact me with any plastic surgery questions you may have so I can personally respond to them.
I encourage you to visit my Web site for more information about me and the procedures I perform.
